Open Studios Sunshine Coast - 19th - 28th May 2023
My hinterland studio will be open Friday 19 May to Sunday 21 May 10am to 4pm
Join us for a dynamic, week-long event to meet talented Sunshine Coast artists in their own creative space and environment. Art enthusiasts and collectors can enjoy a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes, meet and directly support local makers.
The curated art trail embraces the region from Caloundra to Coolum along the coastline aa well as taking in the Hinterland through popular tourist destinations like Maleny and Montville. You can take a self-guided tour to visit local artists, buy art, join in workshops and gain new appreciation for the region’s rich and diverse art scene.
Arts represented this year include original ceramics, drawing, glass, mixed media, painting, photography, print, sculpture, textiles, metalwork, woodwork, jewellery, installation, printmaking and more. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience quality local artwork and purchase art straight from the artist themselves.
Chromatica is a celebration of colour and will be the first in a series of exhibitions at The Zone Gallery in 2021. The Exhibition is the coming together of artists wanting to explore their connection with colour and how they use it to respond to the world, express emotion and cultural identity. The exhibition will include prints, photographs, sculpture, jewellery and woodwork and is a celebration of some of our region’s most talented emerging and established artists.
The exhibition continues until Monday 26 April. The Zone Gallery is located at 89 McCarthy Road, Maleny and is open from 10am until 3pm daily.

With only 30 x 30 cm to work with, 'Foot Square' challenges artists to make an impact in ways other than size.

Aspire Gallery's annual small 'Pieces Competition' is back for 2019, and I am delighted to have been selected as gallery finalist! This year the competition saw over 300 applications. With a size of 50 x 50 cm being the only limitation, a wide array of mediums and styles can be found in this year's exhibition - making it a tough job for those Judges.
The exhibition is open to the public from Wednesdays - Saturdays, 10:30am - 4:30pm , 53 Kennedy Tce, Paddington QLD. Those who attend can vote for their favourite!
